First Bites Opening Reception

While in Disney World this year we decided to check out First Bites Opening Reception for the Food and Wine Festival. Buying these expensive tickets was not an easy task, it took three calls to Disney to convince the operator this event does exist and we'd like to buy two tickets. We could have probably  went to Victoria and Albert's for less.

What an experience, we were greeted with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and table after table of delicious tastings.
It was visually stimulating. The samples were much bigger than you get in the booths, and the tables of alcohol was top shelf.

This event felt very intimate, with celebrity chef  Keegan Gerhard and Taylor Dayne meeting the guests, taking pictures and signing autographs.

It was a great way to see and taste the food & wine in a nutshell.
